Founder & President
Ezra Bourne, a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP), is the founder and President of LPE Associates. His 20 plus years of experience in planning and executing meetings and events has enabled him to work with many clients across the meeting planning spectrum. From designing and implementing large multilayered conferences to small corporate retreats, from press conferences to documentary movie premieres, from helping Federal clients navigate the complex world of GSA rules to ensuring corporate clients maximum return on their event planning investment -- whether face to face meetings or a virtual conference -- Ezra is an expert at each of these activities and more. His experience, industry knowledge and attention to detail will ensure that LPE Associates is the right choice for you.
Business Development Manager
Matt Mangan is the Business Development Manager and a Meeting Professional at LPE Associates. He brings 30 years of experience in meeting and event planning, contracting, business development, logistics, information management and executive support service to the LPE team. He has designed and managed conferences, technical training workshops, and special events at the state, regional and national levels. Matt has worked in direct support of senior government leaders, to include former President and Mrs. George H.W. Bush, cabinet level officials, House and Senate members and staff, State Governors, and foreign dignitaries. He has managed conferences and events in 46 U.S. States and 11 countries. In addition, Matt served as director of administration for a national cancer research and tobacco control advocacy organization.
Monica Jackson is a Meeting Professional with LPE Associates. In 18 plus years of experience in planning and managing meetings and events, Monica has demonstrated abilities in all aspects of client services - from initial concept design to project completion. She is an expert in all facets of conference and event planning, including expertise in the meetings and events industry and in assessing client requirements, designing conference and event programs, formulating and executing budgets, compliance with regulations governing travel, information technology integration with meetings, and implementation of conference related websites and video-based meetings. Monica's diverse array of client experiences ensures utmost flexibility in response to evolving client requirements and consistent delivery of high quality conferences and events. She has managed meetings, trainings and workshops for both Federal and State level agencies, and has worked in diverse locations across the United States.
Channet Williams is a Meeting Professional for LPE Associates. She has been in the meetings and event planning arena for more than 15 years during which she has developed expertise in planning and implementation conferences, workshops, exhibits and meetings for various clients and organizations. Channet's exercise includes the full life-cycle of activities associated with planning and executing meetings and conferences including web site content development, information technologies, timeline management, budgets, staff supervision, client interaction, logistics planning, marketing, development and distribution of meeting materials, travel coordination and participant reimbursement, and onsite and post conference support. Channet's project portfolio includes mumiple Federal and State governments. She has also coordinated numerous private and corporate events, to include executive board dinners, corporate receptions and private celebrations.
Mahogany Hopkins, a Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP), has distinguished herself as a highly capable, detail oriented, and passionate logistics and planning manager with an 18+ year track record of successful projects and satisfied clients. As a senior planner at LPE Associates, Ms. Hopkins manages the full life-cycle of meetings, conferences and events. She conceptualizes, designs, implements, monitors and reports on conference and event work plans, budgets, and programs. She manages all pre-meeting, on-site, and post meeting support, to includes projects ranging from small workshops, board meetings and media event through mid-range consensus development or plenary meetings to large annual conferences and trade shows. Among the highlights of Ms. Hopkins' career, she managed the daily client support services of an NIH conference center. She also was the senior planner for a multi-year series of large meetings for the U.S. Department of Education.
